Top Chef Competition
Like myself, I am sure many of you have been watching Top Chef Canada culinary challenge each week for the last thirteen weeks. What many of you may not know is that Connie DeSousa of CHARCUT Restaurant in Calgary, is a Maitre Rôtisseur member of the Bailliage in Calgary.
Over the last many weeks we watched as all these chefs did their best to reach the final challenge which was on Monday. However, only three of sixteen made it to this stage. Connie was one of the three.
We are all very proud of Connie for achieving her third place finish in this grueling competition, and especially proud to have her as a member of la Chaine.
Connie began with la Chaine des Rôtisseur by representing Canada at the Concours International des Jeunes Commis Rôtisseurs in South Africa in 2003, so Connie has a long history with the Chaine.
