We are proud to announce that the Calgary website is hosting events pages for the Bailliages of Manitoba, Nanaimo and Val d' Okanagan.  For the links, please go to Events 2012 at the top of the page.

Welcome to the Calgary and Southern Alberta Bailliage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. The Calgary Bailliage has a rich history which evolved from a dedicated group of hoteliers, chefs and professionals and which has been enthusiastically supported throughout its history by its core group of non-professional members. It is the intent of the local council to honor and respect this legacy while ensuring that the expectations of the members are met.

The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society with 24,000 members in more than 70 countries around the world. Members have the opportunity to attend dinners locally, nationally and internationally.

It is an honor to be associated with this organization as members are privy to sampling some of the finest food, wines and service that the hospitality industry has to offer. Dinners provide professional and non-professional members the opportunity to experience menus that have been created exclusively for the Chaîne while enjoying the camaraderie and pleasures of the table.

The Calgary Chaîne is also committed to the future of young chefs by sponsoring an annual Commis Rôtisseurs Competition. These young commis are the future Chefs of the world and they are given the opportunity by the Chaîne to compete locally, nationally and internationally against their peers.

I hope you will find the information on these pages enjoyable and informative.

Vive la Chaîne!
